
Instructions:
- Melt the base: In a large saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Add the mini marshmallows and stir until completely melted and smooth.
- Add chocolate: Remove from heat and quickly stir in the chocolate chips until melted and combined (the residual heat will melt the chips). Add vanilla extract and a pinch of salt, stirring well.
- Mix the cereal: Pour in the Rice Krispies cereal and gently fold until all the cereal is coated with the chocolate-marshmallow mixture.
- Shape the balls: Lightly grease your hands with butter or spray with cooking spray to prevent sticking. Scoop out small handfuls and roll into balls about 1 to 1.5 inches in diameter.
- Set & enjoy: Place balls on wax paper or parchment paper to cool and set. You can refrigerate for 15-20 minutes to firm them up faster.
