
Instructions:
- Soak liver slices in cold water or milk for 30 minutes to reduce bitterness (optional). Pat dry.
- Heat butter/oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté onions until soft and caramelized, about 15 minutes. Remove onions and set aside.
- In the same pan, add liver slices. Season with salt and pepper. Cook 2-3 minutes per side until browned but still tender inside. Don’t overcook!
- Return onions to the pan, mix gently, and heat through for 1 minute.
- Serve hot with mashed potatoes or your favorite side.
